About Me
My Story

Alongside my husband Dave, I’ve spent the last 15 years building Ash Plumbing & Bathrooms from the ground up. What started as a one-man band has grown into a trusted, family-run business with a reputation we’re proud of here in Shropshire.
That journey hasn’t always been easy. We’ve faced the same challenges so many small business owners will recognise - juggling family life, learning how to network (even when it felt daunting), making mistakes, celebrating wins, and figuring things out as we went along.
Along the way, our efforts were recognised with the Theo Paphitis SBS Award - something that means a lot to us as a small business.
Through it all, I’ve learned first-hand what it takes to grow with integrity, resilience, and heart. It’s those lessons - the real, lived experiences - that I want to share with others who are on their own path.
There are plenty of brilliant programmes and business coaches out there - but what I offer is a little different.
My mentoring is personal, down-to-earth, and rooted in real experience of growing a business from scratch. I know the highs and lows, the networking nerves, and the reality of juggling it all, because I’ve been there myself.
I also bring something unique to the table with my Networking Wing Woman support - a practical, confidence-boosting service for anyone who wants a little extra encouragement before stepping into the room.
Above all, I’m here to be approachable, supportive, and honest - no jargon, no judgement, just genuine mentoring to help you feel more confident in your business journey.
Why work with me?
Who is this for?
The support I offer is perfect for small business owners and start-ups who:
-
Feel overwhelmed or stuck and don’t know what the next step should be.
-
Are nervous about putting themselves out there (especially when it comes to networking and raising their profile).
-
Sometimes feel like they’re on their own and just want a supportive voice in their corner.
-
Already have a great business but want to build it further and become more visible in the community.
-
Would love a fresh pair of ears and eyes to explore new ideas with.
-
Crave reassurance, encouragement, and accountability to keep moving forward.
If any of that sounds familiar, then you’re in exactly the right place.
